PADI IDC Staff Instructor

Are you already an experienced PADI Instructor and feel you want to take the next step in your diving career? By becoming a PADI Staff Instructor you will be able to share your wisdom and experience with others who are following along the same path as you. You will be helping to bring up the next generation of PADI instructors whilst gaining in-depth instructor-trainer knowledge.

Your involvement in the PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC) means you are setting the stage for yourself to move on to PADI Course Director as you present topics in the IDC and help shape PADI Divemasters and Assistant Instructors into PADI Open Water Scuba Instructors.

If you are perhaps looking to moving down the dive centre manager or resort management path, most operations require a PADI IDC Staff Instructor because of the amount of experience and training they will be bringing to the operation.

The course will involve you becoming a master of instructor-level dive theory, knowledge development teaching presentations and confined water teaching presentations. You will audit a complete IDC as a staff member rather than as a student.

As a PADI Staff Instructor you will be able to teach PADI Assistant Instructor courses and assist PADI Course Directors in conducting PADI IDCs and instructor-level continuing education.
