The course will start with a preparation course that will cover PADI open water, adventures in diving (navigation,peak performance buoyancy, search and recovery) and rescue courses. During this you will participate in confined water development training, descent workshops, and theory practice covering physics, physiology, equipment, general skills and environment and the recreational dive planner.

Prerequisites for PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor is that you are certified as an Emergency First Response Instructor so this will be covered over two days before IDC starts.

The Instructor Development course will prepare you as life as an PADI Instructor and prepare you for the Instructor exam that is on the 24th and 25th September at Semporna, Sabah, Malaysia. We will develop your teaching skills in knowledge development classroom, confined and open water presentations.

Over the 10 day IDC course you will work closely with the course director and the IDC Staff Instructors to help you achieve your goal of becoming a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor. The course director Mark Hedger will be teaming up with Seaventures PADI five star Instructor Development Resort – the only dive rig in the world based at Mabul Island that has a very affordable and ultimate dive package for everyone’s needs.
